A finished-project film
Present the architecture as a sequence of connected spaces. Plan the wider views, material details and changes in light that explain the completed work and how it feels to move through it.
Films for builders and completed projects
UNREAL Creative produces builder and architecture films with resident teams in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. We plan completed-home stories and project filming around the design, materials and workmanship you want to show, with the visits, deliverables and schedule agreed in writing.
The purpose
UNREAL Creative produces films for builders and property businesses that need to present completed work, explain a project or develop a portfolio. The production plan follows the project’s stage, purpose and intended audience.
Present the architecture as a sequence of connected spaces. Plan the wider views, material details and changes in light that explain the completed work and how it feels to move through it.
Where the brief calls for it, planned visits can follow selected stages of construction through to completion. Agree the milestones and access before filming so the record serves the final story.
Project examples
Explore the design priorities, project context and filming choices recorded in our production notes.
Our SCORPIO production note records following the project over twelve months, from construction to its completed state. The final-home presentation concentrates on design, material and workmanship. The existing portfolio identifies HNT and KODA Design as project collaborators.
For this Brisbane home, SABDIA’s brief placed particular emphasis on the architectural curves. Camera angles and edit rhythm were chosen around that design priority. The example shows why identifying the defining detail before filming matters.
UNREAL handled the video presentation of this Melbourne home, with property sales handled by Buxton Balwyn-Canterbury. The film follows a journey through the facade, double-height spaces, curved stair and connected living areas.
This Brisbane production focused on warm timber, full-height glazing, a double-height living room and its connection to the pool. Afternoon light and restrained everyday movement helped describe the relationships between spaces.
Plan the shoot
Identify the material junctions, curves, light or spatial relationships that define the work. Share plans or reference views where they will help communicate the intended emphasis.
Confirm the construction stage, access permissions, trades, styling and areas ready to film. Agree any contributor interviews and flag timing needs for natural light or dusk footage.
Decide whether the film will live in a project portfolio, a listing campaign, a presentation or social channels. Scope the main edit, supporting photography and any shorter versions accordingly.
Deliverables and schedule
A completed-home shoot and a project documented across several stages need different schedules. Share the completion date and intended release early so the crew and edit can be planned together.
The written scope sets out the agreed visits, locations, filming requirements, contributors and main film. If construction milestones are involved, identify which stages matter and how access dates will be confirmed.
Photography, aerials, FPV, interviews and social edits are options to discuss. Confirm the versions, captions, revisions and delivery dates before production, especially when the film needs to coordinate with a project launch.
Related production
Compare the Eureka Tower property film with the FORGE Real Estate agency brand film. These are distinct examples of a residence-led story and a business-led story, useful when deciding what should lead your own brief.
If the brief also needs an agent or spokesperson on camera, plan that part of the story separately. Our agent branding service covers personal-brand films, walkthroughs and professional event content.

Frequently asked questions
A builder production can include a completed-project film, an architectural walkthrough, an interview or planned milestone filming. Photography, aerials and social edits can be scoped alongside the film. The proposal confirms what will be captured and delivered for the specific project.
Yes. Our SCORPIO production note describes following the project over twelve months, from construction to the completed home. For a new project, visits, milestones, site access and the final film are agreed in the written scope. That example is not a fixed twelve-month package or a promise of continuous recording.
We start with the design intent and the details you want a viewer to understand, then plan the route, camera positions and light. Our SABDIA production note describes a brief centred on architectural curves; our Camp Hill note uses afternoon light and restrained everyday movement to show how spaces relate.
Yes. Architecture photography, aerials and social versions can be discussed as part of the brief. Each is confirmed in the written quote. Aerial and FPV feasibility depends on access, location and conditions; the number of edits and release formats also needs to be agreed.
Builder and architecture productions receive a tailored written quote. Site visits, filming locations, contributors, the main film, additional edits and delivery requirements determine the scope. A construction-to-completion project or brand film should not be assumed to cost the same as a standard property-film booking.
Yes. We have resident teams in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. Share the project location, completion or access dates, design priorities and intended use of the film. We confirm the crew, schedule and any project-specific logistics before production.
Share the project location, current stage, access dates and the design details you want to show. Tell us how you plan to use the film and any photography or social edits to include in the quote.
