The film
KOKOMO is a completed riverfront project, so buyers can live there now. The film follows one day there: arriving home, a rower on the river at golden hour, the rooftop and the pool, lunch and golf nearby, a sunset terrace, and the buildings lit up over the water at night.
It runs for 2 minutes 49 seconds and was shot in 4K. KOKOMO first released it on its own Instagram and Facebook on 12 October 2026 with a simple line: “Imagine if this were your everyday.”
The same footage then fed every launch channel below: the Chinese-language feature, the developer’s own posts and the Meta lead ads.

Launch 1 · Chinese-language social
澳洲豪宅王子 (“Australia’s Luxury Home Prince”) is UNREAL Creative’s own Chinese-language channel on Douyin, RedNote and WeChat Channels. Its series sets out to film 100 of Australia’s top luxury homes. KOKOMO was episode 2 of 100, published on 25 October 2026 under the title 水前老钱豪宅 (“old-money waterfront living”).
Within five days it passed 1.5 million plays across the three platforms. Almost all of that reach came from people who did not follow the channel: followers accounted for 0.98% of Douyin plays, and 97% of Douyin plays came from the recommendation feed.
Viewers then went looking. On Douyin, the most common searches after watching were the developer’s account name, “kokomo”, and “how much is A$5 million in RMB”.
| Platform | Plays / views | Likes | Saves | Shares | Comments | New followers | Avg. watch |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Douyin | 1.272M | 80K | 2,713 | 13K | 786 | 6,396 | 39 s |
| RedNote | 194,445 | 14,978 | 1,199 | 831 | 289 | 2,718 | 73.8 s |
| WeChat Channels | 59,342 | — | — | — | — | — | 48.2 s |
Douyin figures are rounded on its dashboard (127.2万 plays, 8万 likes, 1.3万 shares). Douyin attributes 106,000 of the plays to platform-supported traffic; WeChat Channels attributes 8,439 plays to three viewers who boosted the post. RedNote also recorded 203,973 impressions and a 9.5% cover click-through rate; Douyin recorded a 20.14% cover click-through rate. “—” means the figure was not captured.
Launch 2 · The developer’s own channels
After the feature, the developer’s team posted the full KOKOMO film on its own Douyin and RedNote accounts. By 30 October 2026 the Douyin post had 10K likes, 292 comments, 371 saves and 845 shares, and the RedNote post had 5,934 likes, 385 saves and 185 comments.
确实被流量震惊了。视频拍得非常好。
“We were genuinely stunned by the reach. The film is beautifully shot.”
In both feeds, the full film now sits directly under the feature in search results for KOKOMO, so a buyer who finds one finds the other.
Launch 3 · Meta lead ads
For local buyers we ran a 10-day Meta lead campaign around Carrara using the film and an instant form. Every enquiry was passed to the project’s sales team by email.
It spent A$199.76 and produced 17 leads at A$11.75 each, from 2,581 people reached, 5,755 impressions and 98 link clicks (1.70% click-through rate).
A second round started on 29 October 2026, including a Melbourne interstate test. Its results will be added here when it ends.
The first 3.5 days produced 14 leads at A$6.34 each. Results slowed after that, the usual sign that a single creative has reached its most interested audience.
Facebook placements produced 15 of the 17 leads, and so did people aged 45 and over. The 45–54 group was the cheapest, at A$7.81 per lead.
15 of the 17 enquiries asked for pricing and floor plans. Sales outcomes from these leads have not been reported yet, so no sales result is claimed here.
Search and AI visibility
On 30 October 2026 the KOKOMO feature appeared first on Douyin for 澳洲豪宅 (Australian luxury homes), 黄金海岸 (Gold Coast), 黄金海岸豪宅 (Gold Coast luxury homes) and “kokomo”, and first on RedNote for “kokomo”, 澳洲豪宅 and 黄金海岸豪宅.
Douyin now suggests “kokomo gold coast” with 公寓 (apartments), 项目 (project), 详情 (details) and 环境 (surroundings). RedNote suggests KOKOMO豪宅 and “Kokomo Gold Coast”.
Asked about Gold Coast luxury homes, RedNote’s AI assistant 点点 (Dots) named KOKOMO for “its distinctive design and waterfront position”. Asked simply “kokomo”, it drew on eight sources to describe the project, its Carrara address and completed status. This is what generative engine optimisation (GEO) works towards.
Search results and AI answers are personalised and change over time. These were captured on one iPhone in Australia on 30 October 2026, between 14:59 and 15:22; the screenshots are below.
